Rules

  • Helmets are required.
  • No mp3 players allowed.
  • No tri-bars or aero bars allowed.
  • The course will NOT be closed to traffic and cycling rules of the road apply.  Stop at all stop signs and yield to cars.  Violations will be penalized by disqualification.
  • Sherriff’s will be at both US-131 cross points and will stop traffic for the lead and first chase group for the 60 mile and 40 mile racers.  Everyone else might need to stop for cars.
  • The 60 race starts at 10:00 a.m. The 40 race starts at 10:15 a.m. The 18 race starts at 10:30 a.m.
  • Your time starts when the wave starts and stops when you cross the finish line.  Someone in a different wave could beat you.
  • Starting in the wrong wave will result in disqualification!  No exceptions.
  • Electronic results are furnished by Superior Timing and will be updated and posted every 15 minutes, check posted results near the awards stage.
  • After results are posted riders will have 30 minutes to verify any discrepancies. After that results are final.
  • Private support vehicles are not allowed to follow racers during the race.
  • Racers may only receive hand-ups from friends or family at the aid stations listed on the map.
  • Please let race officials know if you drop out.
  • Beer will be for sale at the finish area.  No beer or alcohol outside of the fence is allowed!
  • E-bikes and battery assist bikes are not allowed.
